I became a Board Approved Licensed Professional Counselor in May 2018. Prior to becoming a therapist, I spent 15 years working for the State’s Attorney’s Office for Baltimore City, Juvenile Courts Division as a law clerk and victim advocate for survivors of juvenile sexual assault cases. I worked alongside prosecutors to ensure that the survivors felt safe and had a voice during court proceedings. I truly loved my time serving the citizens of Baltimore City. Shortly after obtaining my licensure, I accepted a position at an inpatient residential treatment program for adolescent males between the ages of 13-21, who had experienced trauma and were struggling with a range of issues such as sexually problematic behaviors, anger and aggression.

In January 2019, I signed on as a part-time therapist for Baltimore County Mobile Crisis Unit. There I responded to calls alongside Baltimore County police officers to provide support, assess needs and link individuals and families to mental health crisis and trauma services, and/or individual and family crisis services. Additionally, in June 2019, I began to provide therapeutic services to adolescents and adults as an outpatient mental health therapist for Transformation Health Outpatient Mental Health Clinic, and eventually joined the practice full-time.

I now work with adolescents and adults on a variety of issues including anxiety, stress, depression, anger, low self-esteem and grief. I enjoy working with individuals in all age ranges, however, my passion is counseling juveniles and young adults struggling with challenges such as low self-esteem, conduct disorder, ADHD, sexually problematic behaviors and aggression.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, with a concentration in Criminal Justice as well as Master’s degrees in General Counseling Studies and Forensic Psychology. I also completed a Post-Master’s Certificate program at the University of Baltimore to earn a Certificate in Professional Counseling Studies.
